Post subject:  Carport Film Show Pics
The film show went well, especially concerning the weather. The temperature dropped pleasantly at dusk with a mild breeze. I had a 30 foot throw which gave me a chance to see what a 2a' lens can do on a six foot pull down screen. We watched two 3 Stooges while munching on burgers, dogs, and side dishes. The main feature, Top Secret looked stunning on LPP stock. The sound was great through an amp and hi fi speaker. Not everyone one could show up so, there were only 7 of us.

Was it a little darker for Top Secret Dan? I loved that movie when it came out. [set5_b/set5_b/drool5.gif]

Yes. I started the Stooges a dusk. When Top Secret came on it was nice and dark. The print was on thin poly LPP so, the picture and sound were striking. Latrine!! [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif]

Sounds and looks like a great time. I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I haven't had anything resembling a film show in well over a year, other than to test screen a couple of Super8 buys a few months back.
