I know for a fact that the model 666A (marc 300 arc lamp projector) and it's associated power supply were indeed made completely in Japan in 1969. The 666A was primarily used in the UK and operates on 200 to 250 volts AC and 50/60 Hz.

Japan Cine Equipment Mfg. Co. Ltd. 2-2135, Misumicho, Higashimurayamashi Tokyo, Japan
Evidently, Bell & Howell owned 90% of Japan Cine Equipment Mfg. Co. Ltd.
