Was wanting to open a subject on optical prints. I had Remo Williams which was a fantastic optical print of a decent movie. I also had a print which was very faded, Pat DAllesio had it on a large reel I sent him (Sleeper romance movie) But I was wondering what was floating out there as far as optical sound prints. Those were the only two I owned. Would also like to know how many projectors were made to show super 8 optical sound films. I know most of them were airline prints but don't know how many survived. Remo Williams was in perfect condition when I sold it and the sound was better than expected although edited for naughty language. There wasn't much in the real film so only a couple edits but the color was brilliant.I've heard that Spaceballs was released on super 8 optical but haven't been able to find it. Does anyone have a list of super 8 optical and the machines to run them?
