A little slow on the draw here in the aftermath of a successful evening last Friday. Dan, let me see what I can do about video, as we did shoot some but don't know what of it's any good yet. If any.

It was a good night, but harder-than-normal work between too many short reels and a labor-intensive crowd (due to lots of kids and a lot of RSVP shuffling; the largest crowd we've ever had at 40 guests, plus my family). Still, people really seemed to enjoy it. Watching 6 of the cartoons in Technicolor under a black sky makes it look AMAZING, better contrast than I can get indoors; plus putting FilmGuard on those prints hid many scratches and wear, making them even better. We love our good Derann Super 8 prints, but wow - nothing looks like Technicolor. It was a blessing to stumble across those reels, which had they come to me a different way would've been out of my budget, so definitely a treat there.

Nice job Bill. The photo's remind me of a Norman Rockwell print. You can tell every one enjoyed the show, some are still sitting in those chairs like the ones you had to sit on in the school auditorium. Now if place my projector at my front door aim it down the hallway out the back door thorugh the sunroom and hang the screen on the back fence,hmmm.....
someday.

Thank you, guys, those faces do say it all - it's a highlight of the family's year now. That's a very kind comparison to Rockwell. Ed, I strongly encourage a patio show, but like everything film-related tends to become addictive, so beware!!!

Why, thank you, friend. Too bad it's such a long drive over here...

By the way, I used the clips made up for me by Marco at both of our shows and they look absolutely wonderful. I am definitely a fan. Now I'm scheming what to send him next and how to pay for it! He is very skilled at what he does, to say the least. Amazingly accurate.
