The Soggy, Wet Summer Saga continues around these parts and that means no outdoor screenings for yet another weekend...Irene dumped another 7"-8" of rain on top of our August 14" record (suburban Philadelphia, Pa.), so I'm hoping September dries a bit and allows some drive-in nights. Anyone else have fun with Irene?

Gosh!

1 had fun with Irene, but that was years ago. [set5_b/set5_b/cheers2.gif]

Looks like Irene really raised havoc on the east coast. Hopefully you were far enough inland to escape any serious damage. i hoope no basement film storages were damaged. How about it? Anyone hit by this mess.

Aside from my cancelled outdoor film show, it was business as usual around here. Our area is plagued, however, with power outages. My son in Vermont wasn't as lucky: he is literally landlocked on his mountain. The flood waters washed away the bridge at the base of the mountain and he and the others up there have no way off, no power and no cell service. I was looking at photos of the terrible devastation there and I would say that state was hit the hardest.
