Wikipedia says it's considered a lost film; the B.F.I doesn't have any material, but it's not on their list of the 75 most wanted lost films. It's always possible that another 16mm exists. A few years ago I read of a 1947 British Film titled 'So Well Remembered', it was stated that only one copy existed, a 16mm print held by an American collector. Some British celebrity persuaded the collector to sell it for £1,000; then he donated it to the town of Macclesfield, where the film was shot. At the same time I was reading this, Paul Foster had a copy on his website for £50. I tried to get it but it was reserved. |
