I watched Spider Woman with Basil Rathbone Halloween night. The audience consisted of.....ME! Yes, me. I must say the film was enjoyed by all. There was plenty of room and no talking or cell phones. The projectionist was superb in his duties and presented a flawless show. [set5_b/set5_b/iagree.gif] This feature is action packed with spiders, pygmies and a be-u-tee-full woman(Gale Sondergaard).

No even one trick or treater came to my door. [set5_b/set5_b/banghead.gif] Hey, I had a pumpkin at the entrance, but still no little bas.....ahem, darlings. [set5_b/set5_b/sifone.gif]

you had a bigger audience than I did Dan.

My day was ruined by having to skip work, call in a mechanic to the house, and have my Tahoe's top end removed, fixed, replaced. I didn't get to show my movies or dress as Santa and hit the down town trick or treat street passing out candy canes as planned. I just had time to sit down about an hour ago. Lee, were there any with sidecars? I saw a Vespa with a sidecar once, I almost chased the person down to ask if they bought it as a kit or built it.

Wayne, yes we spotted a couple with side cars and those brave enough do still ride them. A local fellow scooterist has one and he finds them hard to handle probably because of the small 10” wheels so you either love them or loath them, but I do enjoy riding a classic Italian Vespa and the scooter scene is extremely active here.
This is a picture I took with classic scooters & people lining the sea front as far as the eye can see. Note the guy on the left with a t-shirt saying he would rather push a Vespa than ride a Harley.
