Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in the US, so rather than sit around the table after eating a rather large dinner and dozing off while listening to old Uncle Sid tell than amazing story one more time, I though I would invite everyone watch a film. [set5_b/set5_b/hurray.gif] Not sure yet what the title will be, but it wouldn't have anything to do with food. [set5_b/set5_b/puke.gif]

I try to show a "turkey" on Turkey Day, so it'll be RADAR SECRET SERVICE in 16mm...one of the WORST films ever made. I'll also show the classic A DAY OF THANKSGIVING, the Centron 1951 short, also in 16mm. And--it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without watching PLANES, TRAINS and AUTOMOBILES (this one is on dvd.)

Chris, you said the DVD word! [set5_b/set5_b/smash.gif]

What a great idea to show a turkey. What was that awful film, oh yeah! Ishtar. [set5_b/set5_b/svengo.gif]

I have a very nice print of "The Small One" which I bought from Derann back in the day... (Last Spring)

I've been saving it for the right time of the year and after dinner we will be watching it to kick off the Christmas Season.

(I bought a container of milk the other day with a sell-by date in December: I'd better get shopping!)

We watched Cape Fear Thursday evening by fireside. What a great movie. [set5_b/set5_b/hurray.gif]
