I've just had in a feature print of Disney's "Pinocchio", it looks like its been made up from the 2 Disney extracts and an Italian print, it has a few splices here and there, and a slight difference in quality (funny enough, the Italian print looks better in some scenes), it's been re-dubbed skillfully back into English, and the overall quality of the print is very good (B+), there are one or two printed through marks from the Italian transfer, but I've just run the first reel (it's on 2 x 800's) all the way through, and although there may be a couple of splices that need re-making, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the animation is off course lovely, whoever put this together you can see it was a labour of love, there's even a couple of scenes that Disney took out from there first extract "Pinocchio comes to life" re-inserted in the right place.
My quandary is what to charge for it, before the Derann Disney deal I bet this commanded a high price, but what do you think I should ask for it now, I wouldn't normally ask, as I usually have an idea what the common films can command, but I doubt a true Disney aficionado would go for a print like this (or would they, I just don't know these days!), so your thoughts should help me gauge the market.
