hello fellow film fans!!! i have other projectors i am using at present. problem with sankyo is other day after i ran a 400 ft reel then after i rewinded the film, i wanted to run another reel, there was no response at all. when i wanted to go forward to thread nothing, reverse same thing. i dare not take a chance in running film thru again, if unit stops dead it will burn some frames iam sure. funny thing is, day later i went to unit to see if it would respond with going forward reverse an it did. wondering what the problem could be? could it be a possible circuit board issue, fuse do not know. any help or ideas would be very much appreciated? now iam going to run a couple ken films thru my b an h. going to relive the magic when i was a lil fella an bought lots of kens films :D

Thomas, check the fuse if it stopped dead? If you are getting no response! I am not a big fan of the sankyo projector. I am a Elmo fan ! Or check the belts ?
