Hi guys!

Loving the forum!

Can anybody recommend a projector repair service/person in the Atlanta/North Georgia area?

I have a Minolta Sound 6000 that was in pretty good shape until I tried to make it better!

Thanks!

Tim

I don't think Chambliss repairs Monolta projectors, but he's local.

If there is somebody there who does, I bet he'll know about them.

(Useful contact anyway...)

I tried to replace the main belt and probably did more damage than good. Now it's been sitting around for about a year and I'm not even sure if i have all parts anymore. I'm probably either going to display it or give it away. I found it at Goodwill for $20.00. But it's a (was) a great projector.

Tim, you mean it just needs a belt? Can you post a pic of the inside showing the belt area and available parts? With help from the forum I'll bet you will have it running.

Is this the projector in question?

Yup, that's it Dan.

I'll post a few pics tomorrow of the actual projector- I took it apart trying to install the belt and I fear I may have muffed it up! But I'd love to get her up and running if at all possible.
