This is for Dan Lail,
What is the Laurel and Hardy Festival? I've been a monster fan of their films since I was a kid and you keep mentioning this festival. Bring us into it. What is it and what happens during it?

I know where Harlem is, was stationed in Augusta years ago and learned the state well. Man I wish I could pull away from work long enough to go there. Now that I know hopefully I can schedule some time next year to see it. Would love to be in attendance at least. Just recently recieved the "This is Your Life" episode on super 8 just before Oliver past on. Would love to be able to show it.

Three lads from Great Britain were at the festival last year. They attended some of the film shows and the private gathering at one of the local's home which has a large building out back with lots of L&H memorabilia. Must have been 30 0f us at the private gathering, eating, drinking and singing songs while a fellow accompanied with his guitar. The jokes were flying and a good time was had by all. Eric, Shine On Harvest Moon wasn't one, but Honolulu Baby and We Are The Sons Of The Desert were sung. [set5_b/set5_b/nopity.gif]
