Hey everybody, it's been awhile. I'm thinking of selling my Super 8 print of Gulliver's Travels to raise some cash for Pentax digital spotmeter, so I wanted to see what I could get for it. Now it's in pretty good shape, just some emulsion damage near the end of a few reels, from what I remember, and a I don't think there are any huge scratches through the middle. The color has actually held up pretty well, it's barely faded if at all.

Hi Harrison--
It's a tough to call to make without any screen snaps to evaluate. Relying on your memory as far as "scratches down the middle" would not encourage me to make an offer. I think you need to do a screening with a few snaps for evaluation by potential buyers. That would help maximize your price. Also--just as important, what film stock is it printed on?

I will definitely screen it again if I choose to sell, was just trying to get a vague estimate on a price I could get. Though you are right, I'll go look up what film stock it's on.

Got a chance to look at the first of the four reels, it has some light emulsion wear and side scratches that come and go. Color is excellent though, I checked and the first one is printed on LPP stock.

That's great--LPP color! Check the other reels as well. That would make a big difference in what the print would go for; most prints of this are on reddish faded Eastman stock.
