I've been quiet for a little while now, not on purpose, but my brother Michael and myself have some news to tell you, after nearly 30 years at our home (and business premises) we are on the verge of moving. We've sold our Ramney Drive home and are looking at a 3 bedroom bungalow or the like (actually looking at some tomorrow (Saturday)) with enough room for a new shed for the film stock. I'm not sure at this moment in time how it will eventually effect the business in the short term, as everything will have to be transfered to a new address, but until we commit to a property, nothing can be done, new telephone number etc. I'll keep you all informed, once I know more, but there's some hard work in our future, but it should be worth it, in the long run. Contracts all being good, we will be moving to Weeley in Essex in the next couple of months, as after a little horse trading we have settled on a final price. We've got a few things to do, as per usual when you go into a new property, but overall the bungalow is in very good condition. Within a couple of weeks of moving in we will sort out our new 'Film Shed', get a base down then the new shed (we've already seen one we want!). I'll update with more news when we know it, as now it's down to the Estae agents and Solicitors, and they aint quick! |
